September 23, 2021 - Pale ruby, and fading towards the edges. Silky on the palate, elegant, with tannins providing a little bite, whilst with red floral, redcurrant and ripe red cherry aromas and flavours, then a slight hint of barley nuttiness at the back, and a very long velvety finish. Great wine!

September 21, 2021 - Tasted blind. Dark fruit, very chocolaty, over-oaked?

May 17, 2020 - Appearance: pale ruby with legs

On nose : Med+ intensity, red fruit : raspberries, sour cherry, subtle of vanilla oak, tobacco leaves, dry leafiness, green bell pepper and some spiciness, moderate complexity.

On palate : dry, med+ acidity, red fruit: sour cherry skin, lichorice on front palate, leading to round and smooth tannin and med body, med alcohol(12.5% ABV) on med palate, savoury, leafiness and a hint of bitterness aftertaste with med+ finishing.

This is is quite a text book style of Vosne-Romanée, marked by finesse and perfume which, together with some power on mid palate. One may distinguish the significance and the elegancy of the wine is certainly from Vosne-Romanée. I love this wine and it is certainty be recommended for burgundy lovers. A high CP value one cost only $550 HKD. No regrets, Cheers!

May 20, 2019 - Djacarra's tasting note is spot on. I found this ready for business on the pop and pour. Toasty oak marries well with the dark and cocentrated style of the vintage. More of a Californian than a Burgundian...

April 10, 2018 - A lovely wine. Deep ruby red color. Very perfumed nose. Cherry, cranberry, raspberry, a touch of oaky vanilla, but overall well balanced. Good acidity, yet still juicy. Drinkable now (needs an hour decant), but will come more into its own after another 3 years. Has the structure to go 10+ years before significant decline.
