June 1, 2022 - Well past its best. Insipid, unbalanced, no fruit and jangly acid. Pass.

December 29, 2020 - What seemed a fairly ordinary wine when it was young, has turned into something quite extraordinary. Now, it is a warm, rich, sumptuous mouthful, well balanced and satisfying with a long finish. If it has a fault, it is that maybe it is a tad too smooth and glossy, possibly from a very slight excess of glycerol produced by the yeast strain used in fermentation. At its peak. I doubt it will improve much, but it should hold for a few years. At the price it is a great bargain.

March 17, 2017 - Brought this wine to the annual Dinner & Dance at Orchard Hotel.

Light purple in colour with notes of violets, strawberries, and wild cherries. A touch of leather with nuances of wild mushrooms and plums in the finish.

Soft and easy on the palate and paired well with a number dishes.
