  October 2, 2022 - 5+ years after having tasted it at Nervi in Gattinara. Opened in the morning and decanted an hour before the dinner and highly enjoyed it together with a risotto al funghi.
  
  Was a good decision to give it enough air, while it was dominated by stemmy bitter note at opening, it was perfect at dinner. On the nose fresh moss, roses and a hint of raspberry, on the palate fresh, light to medium bodied, earthy notes and long finish.
  
  Has still ages ahead. Textbook representative from northern Piedmont and very food friendly, just what I'm looking for and a steal for 20€ I paid at the winery. Incredible how the price went up by a factor of two and more after the winery was sold to Conterno, even for the wines that were produced before it was sold in 2018 but already labelled with the name Conterno.

  October 19, 2019 - nice lighter wine with lots of backbone..acid shines through the brambly fruit,,went quite well with grilled ribeye steak

  Nice, clean, well-balanced and long. The nebbiolo character shows itself. Drinks easily, but this is still young; slightly too focussed and though the tannins are smooth, protrude a bit too much. I expect this would be much better with some years on it.
