Community Tasting Notes 5

October 15, 2021 - Perhaps a bit more weight than a bottle a few months ago. Very nice and I feel this won't see any improvement. Drink now.

February 5, 2021 - Lots of acidic dark fruit along with earth. Moderate tannins. Drink or hold.

May 29, 2018 - Leather, cherry, and earthy notes on the nose. Nice balance and dark fruit on the palate. I’d say age it a year or so to let it loosen up a bit. Decent value.

March 26, 2018 - Rich purple color w/nice legs. Full flavor of light leather & tar. Great finish. Solid choice for hard cheese & salumi appetizer. Nice wine @ a great price

November 18, 2017 - Deep cherry color. Delicious-smelling, inviting nose of red fruit cherry aromas with a hint of sweeter raspberry, plus a fresh rose-petal floral lift and a dusting of sweet spice. Just a nice, attractive red-wine bouquet. On the palate, it’s a blast of juicy sour-cherry fruit, medium bodied, not a whole lot of structure but just enough tannin to give it a bit of texture. High acid but well balanced with ripe fruit. Delish! Nothing complex but a great dinner wine.
