January 17, 2021 - Another great bottle that is drinking really well with a short decant and even better on day 2. Still have plenty of life left too. Lovely.

December 12, 2020 - Short decant. Medium, clear purple, full body. Developing, but still demonstrating many primary characteristics. Medium plus aromas and flavors of dark fruits, creamy vanilla, and freshly plowed, dark, sour barnyard dirt. Lacks definition, but clear potential with notable structure in the background. Past experience with this producer, so I know this will only improve with further cellaring. Can drink now with a long decant and hearty food, better if you can wait another 1-2 years. Lots of upside.

November 21, 2020 - This is an excellent WW cabernet. I highly recommend. Very varietal and tasty. As good as many CA Cabs.

November 15, 2020 - Fun comparison with 2015 last night. Less fruit, more herbaceous nose. Less prominent spices. Really nice balance of everything. The kind of wine that is an excellent compliment to food without drawing too much attention. Really solid compliment to caribou stew.

Soft, full tannins on the medium long finish. Nice nose and palate, but too little structure on the back end. 57% CS, 22% CF, 13% Merlot, ...
