April 3, 2024 - Final bottle. Honey gold in color. No evidence of oak in this for me. Tropical notes on the nose and palate, but also a streak of minerality. Still drinking very well.
March 25, 2024 - Corked
April 29, 2022 - Rich and lush with pear, lemon peel and great mouth feel
May 30, 2021 - WIML93
Tasted non blind.
Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of matchstick, yellow pear, yellow apple and wet stones. Flavors of lemon spritz, creme fraiche and yellow pears. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short to medium term.
November 13, 2020 - Mineral on the nose, honey, green apple, on the palate the acid predominates with a lemon blast and a very long finish. Missing a bit in the mid palate here on PnP, softens a little but on day 2, but similar profile - long acid-based finish remains, 91-92
November 7, 2020 - Old world style Chardonnay with restrained lemon curd fruit along with hints of honey, almond and stone. While well made not my bullseye style.
February 17, 2020 - Lovely Burgundian California chardonnay. Golden color with moderate legs. Solid length with acidity on the finish. Ordered some more!
November 20, 2019 - Lovely, and good evolution in the bottle. On the nose: sweet apple, a touch of honeyed wet stone, maybe a touch of noble reduction, fantastic intensity. On the palate, good density, sweet meyer lemon/sour apple, leans hi-toned on the refreshing and mildly spicy finish. Very good.
November 2, 2019 - Almond grove, pith, stone fruit skins and lemon butter. Very complex and balanced.
October 28, 2019 - Lighter style; far from typical Cali Chardonnay. Nice honeyed lemon, a bit of orange pith, some chalk and seashell. Some pineapple and faintest whiff of oak on finish along with some malo.
