June 28, 2022 - Blackberry, black pepper and tobacco ash. Savory, maybe even meaty with fresh acidity on a somewhat stern palate. Gentle tannins provide textural interest. Very good.
December 13, 2021 - At Grey Canary, Memphis: Full bodied, moderate tannins and acidity, flavors of chocolate and tobacco. This is a robust wine that went very well with grilled pork chops, and would be a real bargain at non-restaurant pricing.
November 26, 2020 - Deep ruby. Sweet clove, cherry and earth. Bright cherry dominates the palate, underpinned by cooking spices and slight herbaceousness.

May 21, 2019 - Color: Transparent ruby. Nose: Red berries, dried plum, a hint of spice. Mouth: Quite elegant for a Carignano. The alc. of 14.5% is very well hidden. Very good expressiveness and length. The tannins are noticeable but finely grained.
April 28, 2019 - Nose: Dried fruit (prunish) with hints of licorice and olives.
Taste: Dried fruits persist, medium bodied ... medium length.
A very fine QPR.
Enjoyed it as much or more(?) than the first time.
April 21, 2019 - Deep purple colour.
Nose: Jammy, Cherry,.
Mouth: Red fruits follow in mouth, with a nuttiness in the back of the tongue. Medium bodied, tannic (either keep or decant for 2-3 hours). 88 grade is due to tightness of wine. As i have Cornavin the bottle I will hav another chance and will come back.
