March 30, 2024 - Medium intensity with lemon, lime, saline, hint of petrol, minerality, white peach, apricot, grapefruit, white flowers. Lots of energy. High acidity, long grapefruit/lime finish. 92-93
Great bottle, although not as great as I had expected
March 16, 2024 - Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. Not quite as profound as my previous bottle, but still excellent and satisfying.
February 29, 2024 - not blind
In a very good drinking stage. Not too sweet. Less herbal notes as usually. Fine acidity structure. Pink grapefruit and wet stones. 93-94
December 27, 2023 - A real joy ! Drink or hold
October 24, 2023 - Initially strong diesel/rubber on the nose, mixed with smoky chalk, unripe melon, lime, geilled lemon and cut grass. On the palate still laser focus with masses of mineral and acids, more ripe, grilled lemons. Still some wild, yeasty notes and a bit of funk. Lots of power but lots of detail as well. Very long. Great stuff!
August 7, 2023 - Beautiful riesling, perfectly balanced. Just at the stage I like them - young fruit, but also complexity and tertiary qualities, and still very vibrant acidity. Great wine!
July 22, 2023 - Tremendous dry Riesling. Crushed stone, salt, herbs, citrus and grapefruit, orange rind, minerals. Very complex. At first, we served this chilled, but it was far better after it warmed back up to cellar temperature or higher.
June 25, 2023 - WOTN superb intense just wonderfully
March 26, 2023 - As always, really powerful stuff. Lime, green apples and hints of tropical fruit and honey. Minerals, high acidity, long finish. Hold 3-4 more years.
January 29, 2023 - Felseneck vertical 2012-2021:
One of the best wines in this vertical tasting. Canned peach, curry, wet rocks, unripe kiwi. Long finish and great acidity.
Keep.
