December 31, 2023 - Color: garnet
Nose: eucalyptus, blackberry, clove, nutmeg, violet
Palate: sour blackberry, dark plum, bitter chocolate dust, green pepper
Mouthfeel: soft, somewhat thin start, moderate tannic/gritty finish
Paired with pizza with my smoked pork and steak proteins plus fresh jalapeños and OMG! Incredible $15 value! -

January 2, 2020 - Medium garnet with legs. Nose of cranberry, cherry and spice. Powerful tannins but smooth with spice first, then some cherry and slight anise.
