December 31, 2023 - Color: garnet
Nose: eucalyptus, blackberry, clove, nutmeg, violet
Palate: sour blackberry, dark plum, bitter chocolate dust, green pepper
Mouthfeel: soft, somewhat thin start, moderate tannic/gritty finish
Paired with pizza with my smoked pork and steak proteins plus fresh jalapeños and OMG! Incredible $15 value!
January 30, 2022 - I should have drunk this a couple of years ago but fortunately it held up and we enjoyed it.
January 8, 2022 - Nice blend, went well with steak, great QPR. Dark fruits, mostly Malbec, dark chocolate.
August 8, 2020 - Solid with BBQ over 2 nights, very nice well balanced blend, would re-buy.
January 2, 2020 - Medium garnet with legs. Nose of cranberry, cherry and spice. Powerful tannins but smooth with spice first, then some cherry and slight anise.
October 26, 2019 - Enjoyed with a steak.
September 18, 2019 - Just shouldn't be this good at this price point. Quite the QPR.
