August 30, 2021 - Still on the primary side, this has a cool climate feel with lots of herby black cherry that is seamless with medium body. Better in 3+ years.

May 1, 2020 - Perfectly balanced, low abv. Really like this cool climate Pinot from Santa Cruz. Very fresh strawberry, cherry, black raspberry. Lightly salted ocean rocks. Could drink this every week.

April 14, 2019 - Mostly a repeat of my note from 11/6/18. This time I noticed more minerality/water flowing over granite sensations. Low alc, totally balanced. There’s actually a bit more sweetish fruit than one would expect, in addition to all the herbal qualities. I’ll try to hold onto my last bottle for a few years.

November 6, 2018 - Good stuff here! Wild herbs leading the way - mint, sagebrush, high alpine forest floor. Cherries, underripe blueberry and strawberry, citrus. As it opens up, red fruit, red apple and pomegranate take the forefront. Tannin and acid frame this complex structure, but don’t get in the way of drinkability today. There’s a tension here. Low alc, loving the complexity.

June 19, 2018 - With the salty minerality of Santa Cruz fruit. Really quite salty actually. Not hard edged, just bitter saltiness in a good way.
