January 25, 2005 - Medium red color, not very deep. On the nose, some red fruits and spice notes. After some minutes I felt this was not clean - TCA strikes again. However, putting it into the decanter with a plastic bag was able to remove it almost completely, so it was drinkable. Very nice light to medium weight flavors that improved very much over the course of the evening. At first some prominent acidity and lacks fruit intensity (could however be caused by the TCA contamination). But later on the acidity became beterr integrated and it also picked up fruit intensity, together with some meaty, spicy notes from the barrels. A very enjoyable wine that was a steal for an ex-cellar price of 7,00 Euros! Drink now to 2007
