May 29, 2023 - Alluring dried cherry, leathery nose…crunchy cooked fruit, med+ tannin with med+ acidity for balance…really enjoyed with some classic lasagna!

June 27, 2021 - Note to self: Hold my other bottles until 2025. Not near ready now.

January 19, 2021 - Color on this is a nice cut ruby. On the nose there's subtle red fruit, tobacco, potting soil, but framed by some thick timbered oak. Day two it has settled into spice and cedar territory with some bay leaf. Palate is quite nice, fresh red fruit and well judged tannin that promise another ~10 years. Hopefully the oak will integrate with more time.

October 19, 2020 - Picked these up in Tuscany during a trip in oct 2019. A really great expression of a Brunello at 8 years old. Wine has aromas of tobacco, asphalt, earth and berries. The pallete starts with strawberry, then moves onto sweet plum, and then earthy mushroom. The wine is just so layered that capturing notes is really hard. This is a great wine.

December 22, 2018 - Lovely after an hour.
