November 21, 2020 - Would buy again, and would highly recommend.

One of the better and more unique Paso Robles wines I have tasted, possibly due to unusual grape mixture - Cinsaunt 29%, Mourvèdre 25%, Counoise 22%, Petite Sirah 11%, Grenache 8%, Syrah 5%. I would rank this wine well with some decent Napa and Sonoma wines, which is unusual for me to say about Paso Robles wines.

Very drinkable by itself - has complexity, smoothness, bouquet, and taste that stand well alone. Also, pairs very well with variety of charcuterie meats and cheeses, hummus, and toasted breads. Bouquet pleasant with cinnamon, vanilla, toffee, and cherry. Taste vanilla creme, toffee, cinnamon, and some hints of toasty oak and apple - with soft, smooth, creamy, moderately long finish. Silky smooth texture. No need to decant. Still drinking well and probably good through year 2021 and possibly into 2022.

Originally tasted at Adelaida Paso Robles winery in 2017 and bought bottle due to unusual mixture and 2 grapes we had not yet tried. $40 at vineyard, $30 at local Paso Robles store.

November 24, 2019 - Drinking beautifully right now. My wife's comment "why can't all wines be as good as this?!?". While it may be the extracted ripe black fruit type of wine, it did have the complexity and medium to long finish that made it very enjoyable with a good steak, perfectly grilled.

September 15, 2018 - This wine is a lot of fun. Not over the top, plenty of interesting notes with the dark red fruit.
