November 13, 2018 - Another beautifully structured Rosé. Blended from multiple vintages and varieties, each blend is differentiated by the lot number. Lot IX is mostly 2016 Pinot Noir blended with some 2015 Chardonnay. Opens to crisp and crunchy notes of cherries, strawberries, and stonefruit, with touches of orange citrus and watermelon. Lovely depth, texture, and backbone, with a creamy core that sharpens towards the edges. Peppery spice dusts the expansive and shapely finish. Excellent and extremely rewarding.

January 23, 2018 - Bottled in January, 2017."Proprietary" blend. Creamy, with notes of rose petals and strawberry skin, the latter particularly noticeable on the long (malo?) finish. Drank best 45 to 100 minutes after opening. 13.5% ABV.

June 30, 2017 - A different wine! NV, made from Chardonnay and two other mystery grapes, from multiple vintages. Strawberries, cranberries and phenolic sharpness gets softened on the palate by lees/creamy notes, watermelon emerging as well as some basil/green herbs. A little alcohol heat on the finish distracts.

June 27, 2017 - Consistent with previous note. Juicy, ample substance, great balance, stalwart finish. Great as a stand alone and probably better with food...Turkey Day fare in particular.

June 18, 2017 - $55 at Schilleci's in The Woodlands. Not a bad markup for $17. It has a ton of strawberry, orange peel and drinks slightly more complex as it warms. Price for a rose but I think it's primarily Pinot noir so that drives the $. I'd probably buy it again at retail and a nice change-up to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc mouth.
