December 24, 2020 - Tocai Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, aged for 9 months in oak barriques. White flowers, white peach, lemon, lime, vanilla, wet stone. Seamless and well integrated, is difficult to pick out the individual components, but the whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts. Dry, with med (+) acidity and deceivingly high alcohol (14%). Smooth, yet crisp, with a round mouthfeel. Youthful, with the potential for improving with further aging.

January 20, 2020 - Benefits from 60 minutes of air in decanter; also, better served warmer than colder. Medium hay>gold color, with aromas that tend more toward honey, peach, pear and apple; a pretty base of minerals is firmly at the core. On the palate, it's enjoyable but not really exciting; perfect medium-bodied sipper for my wife. A good food wine , too, that's probably best consumed now or over the next 2-4 years. recommended at the $25 I paid.

January 10, 2020 - Good>Very good; benefits from time in decanter. Medium straw color with water edge; clear, bright. Aromas in this blend lean toward (white and yellow) orchard fruits, with clean soil/mineral accents throughout. The weight is med/med+, and for my palate, this is best served ~ 55F, and after 60 minutes of air in decanter given the additional perfumes revealed with that aeration. Not sure holding this is going to yield any more secrets, so I think it's time to drink; thru 2024. 14,0% abv., and for the $25 I paid, this is easily recommended+

March 19, 2017 - Spectacular! The most open of the 2015s. The Sauvignon simply delivers! I am not sure if it was the Riesling that supports the Sauvignon to shine here, but this is the best Collio Bianco I had so far regardless of producer and vintage. Very open, but also mineral driven and dry. No sense of weight or alcohol, it flows and flows. You donĀ“t sense the Friulano at this moment due to its expressive aromatics. But it is not overblown or Clody Bay-like in your face. Still complex and elegant. Brilliant!
