March 19, 2017 - Deep purple color as expected from a Malbec/Syrah blend. Nose has deep concentrations of black fruit and stewed cherry compote. Very warm on the palate with the 14.5% alcohol. Moderately high acid and chewy tannins. Wine was very tight, needed an hour to open up. Great length on finish.
