February 17, 2020 - Very light purplish-red in color. The wine is light in body with medium-low tannic presence and medium-high acidity. On the palate, this is zippy and mouth-watering with flavors of sour cherry, red currant, rose petal, stony mineral, and a savory woodsy note. Nice length on the finish with a pleasant bitterness that lingers. Wonderful balance and persistence.

This very good wine, especially for the low Last Bottle price.

September 11, 2019 - Once again, this wine didn't thrill me, but it made a really excellent sangria

May 27, 2019 - Strawberry, cherry, cinnamon, thyme, a touch of damp earth. Medium bodied, almost lush, but maintains a nice taut feel, with flavors of tart cherry, cranberry, hints of pepper, stone and plum skin. Zippy acidity and smooth tannins round out a nice, lingering, mouth watering finish.

May 23, 2019 - Poured through an aerator into a decanter, where it sat for 1 hour before pouring a glass. Medium purplish-red, going a little orange at rim. Great nose and flavors of earthy blueberry and slightly-sour cherry, with some spices. Nice balanced mouthfeel, with a nearly 30-second finish. Medium mouthfeel; certainly Burgundian in style, but with OR fruit.. Not a "wow" wine, but a very nice bottle. 90 minutes in, picked up a little body and more intensity, plus some a lot or roses. Surprising. This was the last of our six-pack, and they've been in the 88-90 range. This was a little better. (And Mrs. Newsguy gives this 96 points). I think I paid around $17 a bottle for this. Can't see this getting any better, but expect it will continue to be at this level for another year or two. Well done.

March 2, 2019 - Pop and poured. Initial taste was an odd combination of mouth watering acidity, wood, dried fruit like raisins. As the night went on, bottle improved and showed better balance. Will have to revisit to confirm.
