May 12, 2023 - A light brown colour. Flavours of orange, raisins and nuts, and a slightly saline character. Also a slight sweetness. Good depth and a warming finish. I have rarely drunk Madeira, but this seems very good.

November 15, 2022 - Good nutty flavours but not enough cut and acidity for a Sercial. It's just too sweet and there's too much carmel. It reminds me of maple syrup. The Barbeito 10yr old is a much better bet.

December 24, 2021 - Really good chilled with nuts, brings out saline and nut flavours, and shows how fine this is with well balanced acidity.
