  March 3, 2022 - Very nice tonight shortly after opening. Deep, dark, rich, earthy and peppery. I suspect that this is right in its sweet spot.

  October 7, 2021 - Crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Gorgeous nose of red fruits, flowers and damp forest floor. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Concentration and power in spades. Perfect balance. Cherry, cranberry, baking spices and minerals on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. More earthy than I would typically expect from Kanzler but it works so well here. Absolutely stunning Pinot Noir. This will continue to age well. Best over the next 3-5 years.

  April 6, 2021 - Very pretty tonight with lots of earthy, forward, dark red fruit with Asian spice undertones. There’s good depth and concentration here. Drinking very well very shortly after opening. A perennial favorite.

  September 12, 2020 - Dark red in color. 14.5% ABV. Sublime nose of dark fruits, baking spices, forest floor and minerals. Medium to full bodied with exquisite acidity. Somewhat brooding with dark fruits in spades. Black cherry, black raspberry, cloves and earth on the palate. The finish is long and supple. Delicious Pinot Noir and true to the Kanzler sytle. Always enjoyable to drink. Best over the next 3-5 years.
