August 27, 2021 - Acids a little high, could use more cellar time.

February 4, 2021 - Off restaurant list, Pnp. Not particularly impressed here. Medium bodied with dark fruit, slightly chewy tannins, still a fair bit of oak. Improved towards the end of the bottle but once again my view is that the difference between the quality of the first and second wines in Bdx is fairly large, and I would always go for the first wine from a lesser vintage (say 2012 or 2008) over the second from a great vintage (say 2016 or 2010).

November 6, 2020 - SWW - Bordeaux (On-line): Second wine of Lagrange. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot, matured in 20% new oak. Deep purple color, dark berries on the nose, with secondary aromas of spices, wetness, and potato skins. Very well blended, elegant, and silky.

October 8, 2020 - Not that fruity, however displaying a perfect balance between the "tanins" and the light and gentle part.
The result is very interesting and almost memorable, as my first experience with St-Julien is a great one !
Even only after 4 years, this wine is ready, and of course has still a nice potential in aging.
Very good !! Typical of Médoc, of course.
