March 24, 2024 - Nice fruit depth, black berries and some smoky notes are dominant here. Alcohol feels a bit too hot. Missing some more precision. Nice savory finish. Feels a bit too young now, will try again in 3 years. (IG)

November 7, 2023 - Consistent experience: give this 60-90 minutes of air at this stage. Was jammy/uninteresting at first pour, but started to take on depth and secondary flavors over time. Great value, I expect it will get better.

Der merlotbetonte Wein aus dem Boüard-Portfolio (Angélus) trinkt sich, P&P aus dem WKS bei etwa 15° genossen, sehr gut. Feine Nase auf Maulbeere und süße rote Paprika, am Gaumen Brombeere, Maulbeere und auch wieder sehr reife Paprika mit kräuterigem Nachhall (Rosmarin, etwas Salbei, auch Liebstöckl). Ein Bitterl, zunächst zurückhaltend und auf fast erfrischende Weise positiv, stört ab 18/19° doch merkbar den Genuss.

August 4, 2023 - Soft and round with good depth and complexity. I can see why this wine has so many positive reviews. It is drinking well now but certainly has some legs to it.
June 28, 2023 - Nose of red cherry, black cherry, and cigar box, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, locally it's $24 at Costco, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, better the second and third night than the first, suggest 3 years in the cellar to peak, medium/long finish, photo uploaded.
June 25, 2023 - Give it some air and reap the rewards. 3rd night was the charm for me, having gained some weight and silk. Not heavily extracted, a nice balance of fruit and acid. 85% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc.
May 1, 2023 - This was full bodied with mild tannins. The fruit was well balanced, you could taste dark cherries and wild blueberries, a hint of smoke and spice. I like it so much found a case to add to my cellar, try it you will enjoy with some cheese and or a great cigar.
