September 19, 2019 - This is much better than the 2017 we had last week.

September 19, 2018 - Lots of juicy cherry, spice and earth. Not complex, but a suitably tasty weeknight wine.

January 12, 2018 - Palatably sweet fruited red blend. Looks like it would be someone’s private label, palate follows suit too.

January 4, 2018 - 48 zin, 39 merlot, mouv, syrah, petite grenache rounds it out. Ripe fruit dominant, nothing jumps out on nose. Cassis for sure. R.S to it, rough on palate.

January 4, 2018 - Ah the many labels you have been... grocery red blend from the early 2000's all Big House and Red Truck. Will it have the same traction? Smells like a Cline Zinfandel with a very soft palate and no much bramble. Works it out at $10 or so if not really making it to second.

    August 5, 2017 - Taste August's Top New Wines (San Diego Wine Co.): 48% Zin, 39% Merlot, 5% Mourvédre, 4% Syrah, 3% Grenache, &
2% Petite Sirah from Oakley & Sonoma Coast vyds, racked to 40% new FR oak with a medium toast. 14.0% ABV, 1.12% R.S., .66g/100ml T.A., & 3.49 pH.

    N: JAMMY berries with smoke

P: Med body; Rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by balancing acidity**. The finish is fairly LONG, very, VERY slightly swt, with just a TOUCH of bitterness. NICELY done in its style for now & probably through '19. [This vendor's $8.99 is as good as any of the late 3/2018 wine-searcher listings.]

**First of all, BIG time KUDOS to Cline for their straightforwardness in stating a R.S. level that is considerably ABOVE threshold. Second, they're also to be commended for retaining the acidity to at least REASONABLY balance the wine! :)

June 19, 2017 - A glass with dinner. An offering that's more on the spice end of the spectrum, with some dark pit fruits thrown into the mix. Jammy, but the spice keeps it from going over the top. A shy bouquet and nondescript legs, this should be appreciated as a weeknight value offering. Lively and zesty. (= Worth Seeking Out As a Value Offering)
