June 14, 2015 - An intense orange color. Beyond gasoline but seems really orange in color.

I find the wine to have sharp acidity which it needs considering it's considerably high residual sugar of almost 20%!!!

At this point the wine is showing fragrances if marmalade, apricots, creme brûlée.
Considering how much sugar is there this wine will hardly go bad in the near future but the more high end freshness will most likely slowly fade to more of a jammy style with time. To me it's drink up now. Regardless of how old desert wines can age I prefer them younger.

The wine could have passed for a blend of LH Viognier or Riesling. I did not pick up the classic lychee or other fragranced I would have expected with a desert Gewürztraminer . Then again this wine was made with grapes grown in hot weather then put into a freezer.

Overall a good to great wine. Certainly concentrated and very sweet.

February 12, 2005 - Beautiful aromas of honeysuckle, apricots, oranges, flowers and crème brulee’ blended into a great perfume. The palate was very thick, dense and concentrated, but it could have used a more acidity as the wine was flabby in the mouth.
