October 12, 2019 - Very light for a Barolo but smooth and drinking well. Drank with a steak and it held up well

September 16, 2018 - Not sure what happened here... disjointed. Thin and astringent. Worrisome.

June 23, 2018 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 6/22/2018-6/23/2018 (Chicago, IL): So nice to be able to check in on this without opening one of my own. I love the nose here -- it's got a very slight hint of volatility, but there's an intensity that is quite special here. I love the mix of fruit as well. The palate, however, isn't as good as the nose. It's thinned out a little on the palate but I think this will fill out with some more time. Not touching mine for a while yet, no thank you!

May 10, 2018 - Bruno Giacosa Tasting (PWS): Licorice, toast, spice, blueberry, violets and redcurrant. A level up in depth here with superb balance on the palate and the acidity lifting and driving the wine brilliantly. Precise and persistent, with excellent length. Continued to improve further with time in the glass, with awesome potential evident if it is given more time in the bottle. Wine of the night for me.

93 poeng. For nå.
