November 4, 2022 - D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor the bottle, smells mildly of elderberry D+3h: cherry red colour, smells of cherry and elderberry, smooth in the mouth, has a little bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, in the mouth elderberry and cherry, light to medium body, in the aftertaste cherry, elderberry and acidity, good length (30 sec), a rather mediocre pinot noir.

May 30, 2021 - Finally drinking well. Things have settled and integrated. Still bright and transparent. Cherry fruit, light body and a zippy finish. A quaffing wine with a bistro meal. Needed time to settle. (87)

October 31, 2020 - Correct, northern Pinot. Light in color, weight and body. The profile is all red fruit, green grass and acidity. Soapy. This is lean and bracing yet also juicy and an ok drink with rich, autumn fare. Not my favorite spatburgunder but authentic. Make sure to brush your teeth after this one or there may not be any enamel remaining! Was expecting more from this solar vintage. (84)

June 19, 2020 - Very pale, the smoky nose is quite promising, but it is rather thin on the palate and I can't see much room for improvement. Pleasant with food, but no more. A budget wine for Furst, but in absolute terms you can do much better for the price.

May 1, 2020 - I find this at the same qualitative level as the last bottle yet it has evolved a bit. The color remains pale. The nose is ripe berries and stems. Light bodied, spritzy and full of pinot goodness. A bistro wine and a good one at that. No more but why should it be. (87)

December 9, 2019 - A bit green on day 1 - much better day 2. Give this one some air.

May 14, 2018 - Very light red. Nose bursts with strawberry and a touch of underbrush. Crystalline clarity. Pure, mineral driven Pinot. Absolutely no window dressing on this one. There is noticeable balancing acid. A bit high toned right now (especially on the finish). A few years to broaden and integrate should do wonders for this wine. Good material - solid wine. (87+?)

January 6, 2018 - Low end Spatburguder from Furst in Franken low in this case is relative. Slightly Smokey, rich acidity and smooth. Elegant without complexity but great price/quality
