January 23, 2021 - Razor sharp mouth cleaning acidity, spice, good fruit, medium weight and good finish. This wine shows slightly more youthful vitality compared with the 2014.

September 29, 2018 - Two very consistent bottles on this evening. Very solid once again an albeit we are always skeptical when producers oak age assyrtiko this actually works well. Done with a light hand just adds a creamy side to it, softens the edges and makes the wine more approachable in its youth. Very solid and well made wine, light saline feel, good citrus fruit and very elegant. 90-91

June 30, 2018 - Off restaurant list and drank right after the 2017 regular Sigalas bottling. Fully agree with Papies note below, this is better balanced. The oak is very gentle and well integrated. At the same time I remember preferring the 2016 regular bottling over the 2017, so the vintage might also be a factor here

May 24, 2018 - We tried this side by side with the un-oaked 2017 ( Papies 89) and it was interesting to compare as this is just a touch softer and creamier and at this younger stage more welcoming. Don't expect a heavily oaked wine here and it was actually very nice to see that as are not really lovers of oaked assyrtiko that complementary use of oak. Interestingly we preferred the oaked version marginally more at this younger stage. Sacrilege! 90

October 23, 2017 - I love this wine. Vibrant fruit, almost salty minerality, great length.
