February 25, 2023 - Was best after two hours of drinking when we finished the bottle, i.e. it will continue to improve with more bottle age and/or aeration, which might increase my rating of the wine further.
The wine already showed nice spicy elements from the CF and CS. Carmenere and Malbec also in the blend 👍
November 19, 2022 - Juicy red and dark berries, some oak, good acidity and elegance. Beautiful wine.
November 3, 2022 - Deep cranberry red color in the glass. Aromas are intense and luscious upon decanting of dark cherries, raspberries, tobacco, leather and chocolate. On the palate, wonderfully complex and lush mouthfeel with flavor notes mirroring the wines aromas. Tannins present, but balanced and not unpleasant. Smooth lingering finish. A very lovely Bordeaux Right Bank Grand Cru Classe!
September 10, 2022 - Mature yet fresh, soft yet edgy, clean yet earthy. It's a matter of balance. Dark, mature fruit and earthy mushroom flavours evolve to a refreshingly reddish finish with an herbal twitch - more hay than kitchen herbs - in between. Scores well for complexity. Alcoholic heat clearly present. Will most probably benefit from aging lets say 5 years. I know the 2011 vintage did.
August 8, 2022 - A little bit subdued at the moment. I preferred the -15 Destieux actually.
December 16, 2021 - Sehr dunkle Farbe, mit einer geballte Ladung Beeren und Vanille in die Nase.
Wirkt sehr reif und schwer, kommt dann mit einere Säure die perfekt passt. Viel Frucht, Würze und auch eine gewisse mineralik.
