September 1, 2020 - It is stil holding up, weighty and fresh, but nothing really exciting, used it over 2 days for cooking and a glass to sip along.

June 7, 2019 - Full bodied. Probably would not get it again. Maybe because we drank it past it’s prime.

June 2, 2019 - Always liked it, especially in AUA. Great with light Japanese foods at Ooka.

May 25, 2019 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 7 *shared* bottles] from 05/24/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Frt grown @ 985-1,475 ft elev in "moderately loose & pebbly soils of morainic & fluvial origin;" Typically, "the grapes are soft-crushed, then carefully fermented in temp-controlled tanks, ff'd by several additional wks of aging prior to filtering & bottling."

    N: Almost a TOASTY earthiness?

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) adequately off-set by an acidity which SUBTLY frames the wine into the LONG, tangy/swt (60:40) finish. NICELY done for now & through '20, poss early '21? My EXC-; [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]

    Note: Also tasted on 11/10/2018

March 24, 2019 - It’s good for cooking, and tolerable for a glass while doing said cooking.

November 10, 2018 - Winebar [4 Whites, 8 Reds, & 6 *shared* bottles] from 11/09/18 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Fairly fragrant minerals with notes of forest floor?

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with nice, ALMOST swtish frt nicely counterbalanced by an acidity which defines the effort into & though the LONG, tangy/swt finish with ALMOST a palate-cleansing, very, VERY slight bitterness. For now & through '19. My VG+. [This vendor's $16.95 puts it in the top 10% of wine-searcher's large field.]

August 28, 2018 - Blind Tasting in Cottonwood: First blind of the day.

Straw in color with no sediment or signs of gas. Clean nose with a slight floral edge. Jasmine and honeysuckle. A mellow lemon and lime note as well with a hint of yellow apple. I also got a very slight green aroma off this wine. Medium alcohol and medium body.

Guessing blind my first thought was potentially a white Bordeaux blend from the New World. Was surprised to see a Italian PG. I've given this wine a hard time over the years, and while I think it is overpriced it wasn't bad.
