December 15, 2023 - The wine looks ruby colored with medium legs. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium with low acidity.

May 30, 2020 - I was in the CSJ wine club for a few years, most are Cinq Cepages, but I have an occasional other varietal like this Cabernet. This wine has good balance and rich flavors of dark fruits. Very smooth with a nice finish.
