  November 6, 2021 - Well, here we are another year and a half in, and still going strong. Still lots of black fruit on the nose, and there’s some baking spice present as well. Warming plum, boysenberry, and oak aspects with baking spice and medium tannins. Long finish. Nicely balanced.

  June 13, 2020 - One and a half years on from the last note, and on day two, this wine still shines. Strong personality with lots of red and black fruit with the same nuances mentioned earlier. This wine still has many years in the tank.

  December 29, 2018 - The Kontos boys simply make good, rich wines. This is a flavor-packed delight. I felt like I was drinking it fresh out of the barrel. Lucious, yummy, lip smackin' good.

  December 21, 2018 - Very aromatic, with boysenberry, blackberry pie, and blueberry dominating. Palate has similarly strong fruit driven flavors, but there’s some more nuance with earth, oak, and tobacco accents. Firm but smooth tannins. Finish is long and just a bit hot.
  
  This wine still needs some time. Decanted for an hour and a half before trying for the first time, and it was still tight. Continued to evolve for hours afterward. Great with food.
