October 8, 2023 - Brilliant. Best at the 2 hour mark. Great wine to follow throughout the course of an evening. The fruits are epic.

February 20, 2022 - This wine is exceptional. The dark black and oaky characteristics last throughout the entire evening. Every sip is better than the next.
After about 60-90 minutes it is showing very well.
Tannic, complex, dark & bold fruits put it right in my wheelhouse. -

February 22, 2019 - Inky, dark in color, the nose explodes with chocolate covered black and blue fruits, 5 spice, smoke, licorice and thyme. Lush, rich, round and palate filling, the finish is long, deep, opulent and fresh. Age this for a decade and it will be even better!

September 30, 2018 - 2015 tased at Abreu with Brad. First time, excellent wines- Worth the QPR that puts them up as leaders in Napa. Really wonderful representation of the best from their respective ‘place’. Well done, can only imagine what they will become. No notes taken and below comments are done from memory vs detailed notes but should be reflective nonetheless.
2015 Capella. Great wine with depth, complexity and sails on and one. Great now, even more so as it gets into bottle and ages. Another thoughtfully expression with enough complexity to sit with, reflect and enjoy for hours. Really well done wine.
