  July 4, 2020 - I’ve always loved this easy drinking Cab from Behrens. Unfortunately I recently learned they aren’t making any nor of this.

  June 8, 2020 - Wine was very fruit forward lots of berry flavor (blackberry + cassis), tannins were medium-medium high. Got better over an hour or two becoming much richer. Body was full and color was a very nice garnet.

  January 16, 2020 - Nose is nice but a little briery, vegetal. Hints of dark fruits, especially blueberries, and just a touch of graphite. Changing as it opens. Palate is full but monolithic. More dark fruit, reasonably resolved tannins nice mouth feel. Probably will be much better with age but eminently drinkable just not complex enough to warrant a higher rating for my tastes.

  October 21, 2019 - No formal tasting notes. A big, juicy wine that is pretty straightforward. Fruit is good but on the sweet side. Can drink as a pnp but was best at 1 hour. A hedonistic style for sure. Reminded me of a Venge cab. Started to develop some secondary flavors after an hour. In a nice window now but could continue to add secondary flavors with some more bottle time. First Behrens Family wine and I enjoyed it.
