July 24, 2022 - Understated with slight heat. Honestly I’m underwhelmed with Bruno Rocca and this follows the trend. It’s good but just boring. This is the best lots from their cru’s but somehow there’s just not much fruit here. Plenty of savory and mineral elements. Maybe needs time. Opened in the bottle all day.

April 3, 2022 - Mixed curra and Rabaja vineyards, the wine is floral, fruity, and powerful, yet very well balanced, need to be very patient to wait it open

March 27, 2021 - Bruno Rocca's 2013 Maria Adelaide is a selection of the best fruit from Rabajà and Currà. Supple and open with a beautiful perfume of strawberry, cherry, clove, and cedar. You see the impact of the French oak but only really in comparison to traditional Barbaresco; the word "oaky" would not at all describe this elegant and understated wine. Quite good.

January 30, 2021 - Tasted with twelve Barbarescoes presented by Vinous. Four of us enjoying the presentation. This was one of the favorites. Named after the Rocca’s mother and only produced in good vintages. Light in color and slightly brownish. Beautiful nose, complex and balanced with a bright acidity balancing everything. Long finish and we all loved it.

November 27, 2020 - Bright fruits with minty note on nose. Dry, high acidity and rough tannins, strawberry and cherry on palate
