September 20, 2021 - D1h. Maybe because it was tasted alongside a Pomerol 2006 it seemed jammy lacking edge to cope with the food. It has some tannin to balance the jammy side but not enough. Drink now-2025.
June 1, 2021 - Open it at least 1,5 hour before drinking. Also it is a wine that needs pairing with food, which could be barbecue-style food.
Very power-full wine, super intense.
I liked it - when it was paired with barbecue food.
April 8, 2020 - This wine is extreme well balanced and with its own character. Deep dark purple-red color. Bordeux style but more depth in fruit without being to subtle and smooth. This is becoming a true favorite among oversea wines. The 2015 is not yet fully mature, and will improve over the next 2-4 years.
December 22, 2019 - Decanted for 30 minutes, beautiful magenta/vermillion color. Rich nose of mild cedar, mint, and something like caper leaf but lighter. Lots of tannins as expected, but drinking quite well right now. Raspberry, mulberry, and a nice, drying aftertaste of oak and leather. I love this wine.
December 19, 2019 - I was underwhelmed with this wine. I had expected more based on the blend but it was very non-descript and just died on the finish. Given the price point, there are so many other options out there that are better.
