November 23, 2023 - Thanksgiving wine again, PnP this time. Medium Ruby color. Notes of Dark cherry. blood orange, pepper, mushroom, coffee, and fresh sage. Creamy texture, medium-light bodied, Graceful and supple, with polished tannins supporting juicy red and black berry, with hints of sage and umami in the lingering finish. Lovely.

May 6, 2022 - Nice nose, black cherry and lots of black tea, good acidity and finish. A little bitterness on the end

March 25, 2022 - Initially notes of strong strawberry and raspberry along with some violet on the nose. As this opened up, some peppery and cherry notes as well. On the palate, still the red fruits with the pepper and some oak but it didn't quite come together. The higher alcohol overpowered a bit along with the pepper. Not sure if this just needs more time or not my style. No hurry to drink though as it's holding up.

November 25, 2021 - 2021: Top Ten Wines; 1/1/2021-12/31/2021 (Redwood City, CA): Drank with Thanksgiving dinner after 45m of air. Pale ruby color. Notes of strawberry, blood orange, mushroom, pepper, with hints of smoke and pine. Satin texture, medium-light body, with tart flavors of strawberry, pomegranate, and an echo of pine in the finish. This is an excellent Pinot Noir, full of character and grace, with enough presence to work well with Thanksgiving dinner.
