March 9, 2024 - Fruit forward but balanced elegant wine. Dark fruit on nose, nice acidity and a long dry finish. Easy finish now and should improve in next 5 years. Nice wine for $38

November 23, 2021 - Needed 2 hours of decanting. Very dark blackberry and cassis, full body, with coarse tannins that fill your mouth with wonderful flavor, and a long very dry finish.

October 17, 2020 - inky, opaque appearance, slight vanilla bean scents mixing with the berry aroma, bombastic oak influence, rich, with flavors of marionberry pie, vanilla, chocolate chips, dark berry and herbs, could use some time to let the oak integrate but the style will not change, this is a dark, oaky cab, and should make for a delicious complement with a fatty steak

October 10, 2020 - Showing quite oaky and tough tonight. Unsure now if this is going in the right directiion. Cool fruit and somewhat mild acidity, not as charming as the last bottle I had.
