January 18, 2023 - Bolder than I expected. Spice, warm, floral nose. Definitely drinking well now but could have continued to lay down as flavors haven’t fully emulsified.
December 18, 2022 - As good as always, but sadly for the last time. I wish they still made this wine. Easily one of my favorite Oregon pinots over the years. Farewell, Elizabeth.
November 25, 2022 - Utterly delicious from magnum!
February 14, 2022 - Fragrant nose of strawberry and blueberries, with flowers. Immediate palate of red berries, cherry, strawberry, light tartiness that yields to a touch of forest floor. Crisp acidity, smooth tannins. Drinking great right now. Shame Adelsheim isn't making any more Lizzie.
January 27, 2021 - Very pretty nose, floral with red fruit notes. On the palate red fruit with a nice mineral and earthy finish that was nice and long. I had this with Brie but I think would have tasted better with Gruyere. Would be very good with tapas.
September 24, 2020 - Oregonian pinot all the way.... Sort of a blend between California's fruit and Burgundy's angularness. What do you think?
August 8, 2020 - Drank with Orrson’s and Danilo
August 8, 2020 - At Orrson’s with Paul MBO & Danilo
February 29, 2020 - Red fruit, savory, menthol, cola. Very elegant, perhaps even ephemeral. There is some cocoa that comes out with air. Needs quite a while to open.
February 29, 2020 - “The 2016 Pinot Noir Reserve has an open nose with aromas of warm red
currants and red cherries with great layers of baking spice, cola and dried leaves notes. Light to
medium-bodied, it offers good concentration of ripe red fruits with spicy/savory nuances in the mouth
framed by grainy tannins and great refreshing acidity, finishing long.” –EB
