December 13, 2023 - 5th of 15, pnp, perfect cork and level, as noted in July, still austere, plenty of underlying bant, should improve over next 5 years, so upside, 10+ years. F+ (18) for now.

July 28, 2023 - 4th of 15, pnp, perfect cork and level, showing slightly fatter in mid palate than previous bottles, though with arresting minerality and typicity, about 2 years from maturity although attractive now, upside, 12+ years. F+ (18).

October 20, 2022 - 3rd of 15, pnp, perfect cork and level, as last noted, half put into a half bottle and drunk 2 days later showed even more layering and dimension and was not a bit outshone by a fine bottle of Pillot's Romanee 11, substantial upside, 15+ years,. Currently F+ (18).

February 10, 2022 - 2nd of 15, pnp, perfect cork and level, step up on first bottle, more chisselled and showing more layering, Geisberg minerality, superb dry food friendly riesling, upside, early days. F+ (18).

January 14, 2021 - 1st of 15, opened 45 minutes, perfect cork and level - pale yellow; classic profile, kerosene, apple, mineral/stone, some floral notes, worrying touch of yeast but overall complex and classy, med/light, long, concentrated, properly dry with good underlying volume supporting mid palate, tad less chisselled and nervous than ideal for me but this could emerge with a little more bottle age, not quite ready yet but perfectly drinkable, upside so long as yeast note doesn't foretell of issues. F (17.5)......traditionally Kientzler's wines are very ageworthy but I've had bad experiences in early 2000s and the 06 has dreadful bottle variation! A propos earlier notes here, not surprising similar to Trimbach, esp CFE as CFE is largely a mix of Geisberg and Kirchberg
