September 19, 2019 - Oh so good! Deep dark fruit aromas. Cherry and plum on the palate. Good structure, Good balence. Good quality. Excellent!

January 27, 2019 - Dry, red fruit. Intense scent of black cherries, sweet raspberry. Fine hint of vanilla. And I absolutely smell the alcohol. It is high, 14.5%.
Good texture, pleasant tannins. Refined taste, dark fruit: black cherry, cinnamon and slightly bitter. Can not place it. Something astringent, but pleasant.

November 9, 2017 - Similar to my previous note. Delicious chianti without any of the barnyard or rustic notes found in so many of them. Dry, with red fruits and a savory element that adds complexity and balance.

September 24, 2017 - Just pulled from the cooler so needs to rest and come up to room temp but out of the gate is very nice. Bouquet is a touch more floral and leans to black cherry and red raspberry with some cigar box on the nose. Elegant bouquet. Palate is rich. Same fruits and that cigar box come through on the palate. Hint of vanilla and presents with a textured mouth feel but there is also something else. Kind of a gun metal. That part is a bit off too me here but not disturbingly so. Good tannins in this. Moderate to moderate high I Think on the alcohol. Well balances and finish lingers nicely. No off or stray flavors. Overall, a very good value value for me.

July 27, 2017 - Excellent, cleanly made Chianti with a medium frame and ripe red fruit. Closes with some leather notes and fine grained tannins in the finish. Wish I had more.
