August 21, 2014 - light yellow, in the color. pepper, citrus, on the nose. lemon, saline, honey, on the palate. high acid, on the finish.
January 25, 2014 - Same as in my previous note. Great wine. Tonight paired with baked Vacherin Mont d'Or with walnut bread and Speck di Cinghale.
July 5, 2013 - decent enough AC chablis, with age bringing out some developed flavours, some acidity left on the finish, but suspect this would have been better a year ago.
April 13, 2013 - this is a positive surprise. mature picture book Village Chablis from an above average producer in a very good year. this has gained in character over the years. nose: saline-mineral, marzipan, orange zest, white peach. palate: liquid stone mouthfeel, still a bit chalky, acids still sufficient but on their way down, 16 Caudalie. drink up.
April 4, 2013 - bright yellow in color. floral, mineral, wet stone, on the nose. salty, stone, floral, mineral, on the palate. medium acid on the finish.
December 23, 2011 - Christmas & New Year 2011; 12/23/2011-1/2/2012 (Home): Crisp, chalky minerality and texture to the attack, good grip, a little denser and showing more depth than I might have expected, nothing fat or over ripe here. Refreshing and really quite persistent. Lovely. ***1/2
April 6, 2011 - Mid straw. Proper Chablis nose, saline and mineral. Similar on palate, crisp, limey fruit and good grip on the attack, rounding out to a mineral, saline and honeycomb mid-palate with a chalky, grippy texture and, though it's a ripe vintage, this finishes cleanly with a reasonable length. Classic good quality village Chablis. A point. ***
June 22, 2010 - Had from 1/2 bottle. Really pretty generic -- pleasant enough but nothing to sink your teeth into. Don't see a lot of potential for aging.
March 31, 2010 - Pale apple green. Lovely fresh nose, mineral, citrus and seawater. This is very very good for a basic Chablis. Really lovely focus and a lovely definition to the mineral and slightly citrus hint of fruit. Not too ripe but enough substance to give some body to the finish. Half the bottle left overnight was just as good the following day. This has really come on over the past year. ***1/2
January 28, 2010 - Plus Côte d'Or que Chablis: construit sur la souplesse et la puissance alcoolique. Peu ou pas de minéralité. Fraîcheur en retrait. C'est savoureux, mais assez simple.
