August 9, 2020 - Decanted from magnum for 45 minutes, and sadly, my last of the 2016! Outstanding, as usual, with some good years ahead of it if you still have some in your cellar. Precise, balanced, full-bodied, a real joy.

July 16, 2020 - More than 18 months since my last bottle, this one is sheer delight! It is drinking beautifully, full of charm and character, balance and flavor, a great wine.

November 20, 2018 - Another great bottle; decanted and served immediately, this is a complex and silky wine with great structure, balance and nuance; a serious wine for sipping, not quaffing.

July 25, 2018 - From memory, well-described by others below, turns out nebbiolo is a great grape for rose! Enjoyed with salad nicoise.

March 18, 2018 - At dinner. Brief note. Nose and palate haven't evolved since I last tasted this but this is still a strong rosé. Banana, kiwi, strawberry, papaya, lots of minerals and chalk, crunchy sour cherry, and underbrush/herbs. Superb acidity and a lovely red fruited and tropical midpalate. Finish is medium (+) and complex. Love this producer.

November 10, 2017 - Lovely melange of peach, apricot and citrus on the nose and palate, with a stony, soil-laden base that keeps it all interesting, and alive. In just six months, this has really come together quite nicely, and as before, shows the stuffing to gracefully age several more years. But that's easier said than done, as this is just so good right now. Brilliant, understated, lovely. Aggregate cork. highly recommended

October 8, 2017 - Consistent with previous bottles. Vibrant orange with more copper than salmon color, this rose wine reveals rhubarb, dark red cherry, anise and orange peel on the nose. The mouth feel brought very bright acidity with added elements of anise, fennel and dark red fruits including Damsom plum. The finish was complex with additional notes of vanilla, kiwi, thyme and more orange rind/zest. 13% abv.

Purchased for $19US, this is an amazingly complex rose' from a quality producer.. This is one of the most complex rose's I've tasted. It's delicious.

August 12, 2017 - Another great bottle. This time I had double-decanted ~ 4 hours prior to serving it, and it helped open the fruits to better compete with the mineral characteristics. Should really be in the zone this time next year, so going to try and hold remaining 17 bottles till then, and beyond. recommended+

August 1, 2017 - Third bottle from a case purchased solely on glowing CT notes from Wine Strategies and others. I am impressed. Impactful from the first sip, the intensity and concentration here are excellent and remind me of Bandols finest like Tempier. Ripe tropical fruits wax and wane across the palate with hints of copper pennies and minerals in this flowing, full bodied rosé. The palate is charged by excellent acidic thrust and the energy and freshness are outstanding. While this lacks the extra level of focus of a Tempier at half the price this is a steal! Great recommendation, thanks to all
