June 2, 2023 - This is very nice and drinking well now. Good acidity, really nice fruit but not overly. Decanted for an hour and we finished the bottle with our steak dinner between the two of us. I don’t think it will improve more with time so I will probably drink the remaining bottle within the year.

March 2, 2023 - Last tasted two years ago and not much has changed since then. This bottle did initially open with a distinct rubbery note that blew off over time.
Color/App: light/translucent ruby core -> diffuse ruby rim. Bright, effusive bouquet of Bing cherries, cranberries. Fruit-forward palate of pomegranate, cherries and spice still. Great acidity & body and varietally correct. A very nice, solid Pinot for the price IMHO. Delicious still and still no reason to wait.

August 5, 2022 - Has (surprisingly) bulked up a bit from its previous 'slightly light' profile, tastes like a Volnay village wine from a great year rather than a specific fruit

August 3, 2021 - Good density for a Bourgogne. Tasty. Tastes like it's villages but halfway between NSG and Gevrey with Volnay texture.

February 17, 2021 - Color/App: light/translucent ruby core -> diffuse ruby rim. Bright, effusive bouquet of Bing cherries, cranberries. Palate also fruit-forward; pomegranate, cherries, spice. Reminiscent of (oh no, don't go there!) a really fine California Pinot, albeit at a fraction of the price. Great acidity & body and varietally correct, this punches well above its weight class and price to my mind. Delicious now and no reason to wait.

July 26, 2019 - Light to medium red color and light to medium red berry tastes. This apparently is a blend from two vineyards just southeast of Volnay and adjoining Meursault, but can not legally be designated Volnay. Compared to other 2015 village wines, it seems slightly on the soft side, but I am cellaring two additional bottles based on this tasting sample.

March 26, 2019 - I like LovesBurgundy's comment "perfectly fine wine to be enjoyed, even on a school night." It is a little young but delicious. as before- Bright medium red. Bright and silky with brown spices. Delicious crunchy red fruit in the mouth. Obviously well made and correct but it goes further and has a little more energy and elegance than I would expect for 2015. Only bought 4. 2 down. I wait on the the remaining 2 for a few years.

December 7, 2018 - Nose is very subtle with very mild notes of plum, mocha, tar and earth. The tongue is even more subtle with similar notes on the tongue with long, fresh pomegranate finish - very feminine in character. Tannins are firm at the end. This might benefit from a few more years in the bottle. That said perfectly fine wine to be enjoyed, even on a “school night.”

May 4, 2018 - Tasted over three days, on the first and third days only. Somewhat 'different' bouquet on the first day. Varietally correct, with good expression of place. Solid, if underwhelming.
