December 24, 2021 - Tasted from the winelist at Italian Village Chicago.
This was dark deep purple colored, full bodied with complex plum and blackberry fruits with notes of game, dark chocolate, spices and herbs, pepper and hints of cedar with a moderate tannin and acidic lingering finish.

June 30, 2019 - Not quite as good as it was 5 years ago, but still very good. Huge nose, Lots of fruit, super smooth, just not enough 'umphf' to bring it to the next level.
