February 4, 2024 - My last ‘15. Still going strong. Big Pinot, but refined as well. Earthiness lends an old world feel.
January 25, 2024 - Was served too cold for my liking, but it opened nicely as it slid towards room temperature.
December 29, 2022 - Downgrading this, last bottle of the vintage. This seems to have sadly declined the last few years, almost syrupy, syrah like. There were still some very good RRV elements of plums and blackberries, yet the structure has faded.
July 23, 2022 - Yummy
October 23, 2021 - Big and brawny Pinot. Dark cherry with a bit of strawberry. Sharp white pepper bite. Even at $30, a nice value.
May 1, 2021 - Charming, with strawberries and juicy acidity. Really like this wine for what it is.
February 7, 2021 - Gorgeous nose. Lovely red fruit.
January 9, 2021 - Took awhile to open up, better second day
November 17, 2019 - OK day 1, but not like my previous bottles. Day 2: "Cliff wine" as in it fell off a cliff.
November 15, 2019 - Fantastic as always. Good RRV red fruit. Still going strong on day 3.
