February 12, 2022 - Earthy, slight pineapple rind but not pineapple sweetness. Balanced acidity, slight cheesiness or nuttiness.

April 24, 2021 - Great wine, distinct. More evolved now with notes of melon, grapefruit, flowers. Good depth and complexity.

June 29, 2020 - Wow is this good. Mountain flows, saline, high acid, melon, creamy lemon. Roundness on palate surprised me for the elevation. Really delicious and distinct.

September 19, 2019 - Consistent with my note of two years ago "Fabulous, bursting with freshness. Light>Medium-body, great energy, balance. Mountain flowers, quinine, scents of green melon, lemon oil, hay, grass, minerals, soil. Flavors are focused, the body is lithe; not too much depth or breadth at this stage, but it's clearly got some structure and I imagine in a year this will have filled out nicely. Loved it.", this has indeed filled out, adding weight and breadth. During the 90 minutes it was open, it continued to fill out, changing it up a few times as it did (i.e. different aromas and flavors came forward/highlighted). A joy to drink, quite good with food, but many will prefer it on its own. Drink thru 2023. 13,5% abv. recommended

    June 5, 2019 - Medium straw

Nose: White peach, white flower, lemon zest, slate. Well projected.

Mouth: Fuller in body than expected, this is well balanced and fresh, with white peach and yellow apple taking point ahead of a creamy citrus turn. Grapefruit peel and lemon merangue notes linger against the round fruit core.

Overall: Distinctive and subtle, it is startling how creamy this is for a wine produced at such a high elevation. Immediately approachable and friendly, the slight richness balanced by the fresh acidity compliments each other to produce a very complete package. Distinctive. 100% Petite Arvine.

    91.
