December 30, 2023 - Quite Pauillac in character with classic notes of ripe black fruits, graphite minerals and a hint of roasted nuts. Drinking well already with some air and the texture is smooth and even creamy. The finish shows a nice licorice flavor with some tannins still to resolve and they are a bit astringent to me. A nice Bordeaux and a bit unfair to compare it to the best of the commune.

October 28, 2023 - Intense minerality with blackberries, clove and black pepper on the nose. Palate is penetrating with black fruits, earthy spices and dried herbs on a medium-bodied mid-palate. Transition to a deep and clean finish is uneven. Need some breathing for the elements to open up. Let this age for another 2-3 years for better harmonisation.

July 30, 2023 - Deep garnet. Nose was minimal even after 3 hours after open. Taste was more typical, graphite, tobacco. Tannins clearly present. Closed?
