December 4, 2021 - 富麗華午餐 (Chicago, IL): #11-17. Served double blind; very easy to get to German riesling, and the lack of the streak of green apple acidity on the palate made me think Nahe. It wasn't much further a stretch to guess Dönnhoff. Slightly peachy, the fruit profile seems to indeed emphasize stone fruits. A slight bit of mineral chew on the back end, and a generally light, weightless texture on the palate. Tasty as always.

November 30, 2021 - Very herbal. Nice balance of sugar and acid. Good, but not nearly as exciting as the 16 hermannshohle was a few months ago.

November 27, 2021 - Pineapple, citrus, apple, and some peach and exotic fruit on the nose. The medium-sweet palate continues with juicy green apple, some slight creaminess and decent mineral broadband acidity. Long finish with apple and citrus, tapering towards stoniness. Everything is in its place, and the package is well in balance. Works also really well with spicier food. The enjoyability factor is high in this, so while it might still develop further with age, it's hard to resist it now.

January 26, 2021 - pineapple, meyer lemon, yellow peach, white florals, slate, lime zest, and asian spice

I really love this wine young. lush fruit, electric, aromatic. really hard not to just porch pound this thing. so good with spicy food too.
