August 22, 2023 - Deep yet subtle concentration, lighter oldskool claret weight, sweet plum, chocolate, soft ripe cherry … sweet, pleasant, fine tannins … hold for another couple of years

March 23, 2023 - Webinar hosted by The Wine Society, UK, with tasting wines sent in advance. "Bordeaux Blends from around the World."

This is a long standing favourite of mine and I was not disappointed. Medium garnet colour. Lovely nose, earthy, with cinnamon, peppermint and floral overtones. The palate is smooth, nicely matured already. Long and well balanced, with good acidity. Excellent.

December 14, 2022 - On the nose, it's charming and light with aromas of red and dark berries, light spicy notes of tobacco leaves and cedar. fresh on the mouth, with soft fine tannins and a medium- aftertaste.

No formal notes, on a night with a number of different wines. I remember a nice leathery note on the nose and it being a nicely integrated wine.

June 6, 2020 - Trade tasting: This was impressive. Not sure about the list price of 39 Euros. My first Angludet. It had nice aromas of beeswax, plums, cedar hints, flowers, raspberries + cassis. Its medium bodied spherical, nicely opulent, silky and nicely oaked, fresh blue and red fruits palate has a plump middle and ends longish, fresh and a bit dry. Elegant wine. 13%. V.drinkable! Drink in next 5 years+.

    November 28, 2019 - 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot. 13.5% alcohol.

Fresher and charming aromas with darker cherries, red plums, raspberry hints, dark mushrooms and light wet wool. Medium bodied wine with pronounced fresh and good mouthfeel. Clean cherries, fruit peel, slightly wide red plum, some orange-edged and salts. Light wood on the finish. Fresh acidity and good tannin structure. Lacks some depth, but this is a wine that will drink very well a little earlier. 92 points.

June 22, 2017 - Barrel sample. The wine was medium to dark purple in colour and offered red and dark fruit, oak, vanilla and coconut on the nose and palate, with medium to medium-plus acidity, medium-plus tannin and good length. The wine was pretty, but not the densest and probably even the least concentrated in today's lineup, and the oak was more dominant than in many other wines. This sample was medium- to light-bodied and I expect the wine to be medium-bodied once bottled and released. Not bad, but this would not be my first choice in 2016.

April 29, 2017 - Medium-bodied with firm tannins, this wine opens with notes of blackberry, cassis and cherry pipe tobacco. You’ll also find that same sensation on the palate, when the cherry tobacco reappears with a pinch of herbs.
