September 3, 2023 - Came across some bottles at a nice price and curious how this has held-up since this was the last vintage with the Las Piedras fruit. A pleasant surprise. Purple fruit - currants, blackberry, dark cherry, and some blueberry. Smooth mid-palate with a nice purity and solid depth/concentration - medium plus body. Nice flavors of cassis, some baking spices, and a little mineral/graphite component. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Improved a little with time. 100% cab.

December 16, 2020 - Wow, this is drinking great, in such a beautiful place. I like napa cabs that peak when they are about 5 years old. Not too young, not too old. So this drinking so well at this 5 year mark makes me very satisfied.
